# Background

Web 3.0 is seen as the next generation of the Internet that will bring major innovations and reshape current business models. In the past year, the concept of Web 3.0 has become popular around the world at a “viral” rate. Before the rise of the blockchain, Web 3.0 had appeared, but it could only stay in the conceptual stage due to the lack of solutions.

With the development of the blockchain technology and the increase of cryptocurrency investors, a number of Web 3.0 projects have emerged in the blockchain ecosystem such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Filecoin. Blockchain technology lays the foundation for the development of Web 3.0, and cross-chain technology meets the needs of Web 3.0 users in different blockchain ecosystems to interact. The era of Web 3.0 has shown an unstoppable trend.

Web 3.0 brings together global capital, world-class entrepreneurs, and philosophers of mobility. With the rise of Web 3.0, it more clearly pointed out the ecological development path of the next stage - Metaverse. The development of technology expands the boundaries of imagination, and the concept of metaverse begins to gradually permeate life.

The five elements of Metaverse include a reliable economic system, virtual identities and assets, strong sociality, immersive experiences, and open content creation. If the purpose of the metaverse is to create an independent and immersive virtual digital world with an open, autonomous economic system, low access restrictions, smooth real-world interaction and persistence, then we are still in the metaverse budding period. The ecological layout of RHEA will comprehensively explore the greatest explosiveness of the metaverse in the Web3.0 era.
